Shots fired during break and enter in Grand Falls-Windsor
Police seek information on incident
Some criminals went through a lot of trouble to damage property during a break and enter at a business near Jumpers Brook on June 27.
A police press release issued last week said the private owner of the business reported someone broke into his business and did excessive damage to the property.
Windows were broken, several holes were made in the walls, walls were spray painted, and someone fired two shots, possibly from a rifle, through one of the windows, the release noted.
In addition, a fire was lit in one of the buildings, windows were broken on a truck, and an amount of copper wire was stolen.
The Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP is seeking the assistance of the public in solving this crime. If anyone can provide information concerning who is responsible for the damages, they can contact the Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222TIPS (8477), text TIP190 and your information to “Crimes” (274637), or email www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
