2017 marked the 97th year for the an­nual Labour Day pa­rade and cel­e­bra­tions in Grand Fall­sWind­sor.

This year the turnout for the pa­rade was smaller than ever, with just two floats a few cars and three chil­dren on dec­o­rated bike the pa­rade is a mere shadow of former cel­e­bra­tions.

Things did pick up in the af­ter­noon de­spite the rain, with a con­cert, bouncy cas­tles and free hot dogs at Joe Byrne Sta­dium.

Dakota Chaulk dec­o­rated her bike at a pony for the an­nual Labour Day bike dec­o­rat­ing con­test.

Vic­to­ria O’Leary-Bro­phy en­tered her bike in the con­test. This year’s theme was Phar­ma­care: A Plan For Ev­ery­one.
