Drop your bagged items into our red cloth­ing do­na­tion bins lo­cated at Home Hardware, Sobeys, Do­min­ion and River­wood Va­ri­ety in Grand Falls-Wind­sor; Herm’s Va­ri­ety in Bot­wood area; and Wishes Flower & Gift in the Bishop’s Falls area. Fundraiser

River Gold Fundrais­ing is a com­mu­nity fundraiser in part­ner­ship with three lo­cal ser­vice or­ga­ni­za­tions: Cor­duroy Brook En­hance­ment As­so­ci­a­tion, Ex­ploits Val­ley SPCA, and Grand Falls-Wind­sor Her­itage So­ci­ety. We run a weekly event with the dead­line for play­ing be­ing clos­ing time on Wed­nes­days at store lo­ca­tions. The Di­a­betes Ed­u­ca­tion Clinic of­fers a “drop-in” ser­vice on Wed­nes­days be­tween 1-4 p.m. Have your blood sugar, blood pres­sure and weight checked. Bring your di­a­betes-re­lated ques­tions to the nurse and di­eti­tian. Come back and get on track. No ap­point­ment nec­es­sary.

Youth Al­pha for Ages 11-14

Join us each Wed­nes­day from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at E.M. Bishop Hall, Holy Trin­ity Angli­can Church, for fun, food, games, mu­sic and teach­ing pre­sen­ta­tions about the Chris­tian faith.
