Hundreds flock to Grand Falls-Windsor for weekend of snowmobiling and gastronomy
Despite having to postpone the festival to March 2-3, the seventh annual Mid Winter Bivver was still a hit.
Snowmobilers had an opportunity to enjoy the amazing Central Newfoundland backcountry during the Friday Fun Run Back Country Adventure and Saturday’s Trail Mix Interpretive Snowmobile Ride.
Executive Chef Roary MacPherson and the Newfoundland culinary team were also on hand during the festival, and served up mouth-watering food during events like the Bivver lunch and forager’s feast.
Snowmobilers had some fantastic, snowy conditions during the Friday Fun Run Back Country Adventure, which took them to Badger for lunch via the scenic backcountry.
