Hun­dreds flock to Grand Falls-Wind­sor for week­end of snowmobiling and gas­tron­omy

De­spite hav­ing to post­pone the fes­ti­val to March 2-3, the sev­enth an­nual Mid Win­ter Bivver was still a hit.

Snow­mo­bil­ers had an op­por­tu­nity to en­joy the amaz­ing Cen­tral New­found­land back­coun­try dur­ing the Fri­day Fun Run Back Coun­try Ad­ven­ture and Satur­day’s Trail Mix In­ter­pre­tive Snow­mo­bile Ride.

Ex­ec­u­tive Chef Roary MacPher­son and the New­found­land culi­nary team were also on hand dur­ing the fes­ti­val, and served up mouth-wa­ter­ing food dur­ing events like the Bivver lunch and for­ager’s feast.

The area sur­round­ing Hodges Hills had plenty of fresh snow to play in to the pleas­ant sur­prise of par­tic­i­pants in the Fri­day Fun Run Back Coun­try Ad­ven­ture.
