Me­mo­rial Day Pa­rade

The Royal Cana­dian Le­gion, Branch 12 will con­duct the Me­mo­rial Day Pa­rade at 1 p.m., July 1 at the Me­mo­rial Grounds on Lin­coln Road, Grand Falls-Wind­sor. All par­tic­i­pants should be at the Beau­mont Hamel Ar­moury no later than 12:30 pm, July 1. If you, or your or­ga­ni­za­tion, plan to lay a wreath, please call the Royal Cana­dian Le­gion, Branch 12 at 489- 6560 and give the name of the per­son lay­ing the wreath and the name of the or­ga­ni­za­tion or per­son to be placed on the wreath. All wreaths should be fresh flow­ers.

Cana­dian Blood Services clinic

Cana­dian Blood Services will be hold­ing a blood donor clinic at the Me­mo­rial United Church Hall, Grand Fall - Wind­sor on Mon­day, July 10 from 5-8 p.m. and Tues­day, July 11 from 12-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. There are 208 ap­point­ments to fill. Grand Falls – Wind­sor res­i­dents are asked to book their ap­point­ments to­day by down­load­ing the GiveBlood app or visit blood.ca.

Fall Sale

Crime Stop­pers Branch

The Ex­ploits Val­ley Crime Stop­pers Branch is look­ing for new mem­bers. We meet once a month for ap­prox­i­mately an hour and par­tic­i­pate in three to four fundrais­ers a year that would re­quire min­i­mal vol­un­teer time. River Gold Fundraiser

River Gold Fundrais­ing is a com­mu­nity fundraiser in part­ner­ship with three lo­cal ser­vice or­ga­ni­za­tions: Cor­duroy Brook En­hance­ment As­so­ci­a­tion, Ex­ploits Val­ley SPCA, Grand Falls-Wind­sor Her­itage So­ci­ety.
