Something for everyone
Valley Ex Parade draws big crowd, lots of winners
The Annapolis Valley Exhibition boasted scores of entries and drew large crowds to both sides of Main Street in Lawrencetown as it made its way from Fitch Road through the village and into the main ring at the Annapolis Valley Exhibition grounds Aug. 15.
The numerous marching bands, fire trucks, commercial floats, walkers, princesses and queens, community group entries, and livestock made for a long parade that did not disappoint.
The numerous entries may have given the judges a few tough moments of indecision, but in the end they came up with a list of winners.
