Pro­ba­tion, fine for cannabis

On Feb. 15, Kee­gan Ed­ward Healy of Hal­i­fax was sen­tenced to 12 months pro­ba­tion and fines to­talling $650 af­ter he en­tered a guilty plea to pos­ses­sion of cannabis resin.

The 26-year-old was charged af­ter an in­ci­dent on Feb. 28, 2016 in Grand Pré.


Con­di­tional dis­charge for pos­sess­ing weapon

Joseph Ben­jamin Kaiser, 35, of Auburn, en­tered a guilty plea on a charge of pos­ses­sion of a weapon dan­ger­ous to the pub­lic.

He was sen­tenced to a 12month con­di­tional dis­charge, a 10-year firearm pro­hi­bi­tion, for­fei­ture of the weapon and a manda­tory DNA or­der.

He was charged af­ter an in­ci­dent in Auburn on Sept. 30, 2016.


Guilty of breach­ing con­di­tions

Ge­orge David Withshaw, 61, en­tered guilty pleas on three charges of breach­ing con­di­tions, pos­sess of hy­dro­mor­phone and pos­ses­sion of il­le­gal to­bacco. He was charged in Kentville on Oct. 26, 2016.

The East Tre­mont res­i­dent was fined $650 plus a $100 vic­tims’ ser­vices fine and handed 15 months pro­ba­tion.


Breach­ing pro­ba­tion

A Glen­wood, N.B. res­i­dent, Colleen O’don­nell, was given an eight-month con­di­tional dis­charge for breach­ing pro­ba­tion in Kings County. The 53-year-old en­tered a guilty plea on the April 16, 2016 in­ci­dent.


Im­paired driv­ing

Karen Elizabeth Wentzell, 54, en­tered a guilty plea to driv­ing while im­paired on Aug. 3, 2016 in Cam­bridge. The Ber­wick res­i­dent was fined $1,600 and handed a one-year driv­ing pro­hi­bi­tion. fol­low us on Twit­ter @Kingsnsnews
