Con­grat­u­la­tions to Claire Robin­son, daugh­ter of Matthew and Michelle Robin­son, who was one of the win­ners at St. Mary’s El­e­men­tary at a sci­ence fair.

Claire will be go­ing to the re­gion­als. She is the great-grand­daugh­ter of Yvonne Brit­tain of Ber­wick and many wishes of good luck go her way.

The Chris­tian Mis­sion Out­reach Com­mit­tee of the Ber­wick Baptist Church met re­cently at Sil­ver’s Rest Home. The topic for the de­vo­tional was love. Frances Lowe pro­vided the mu­sic. Each res­i­dent re­ceived a Valen­tine card and gift from the com­mit­tee. This was fol­lowed by fel­low­ship and re­fresh­ments. A St. Pa­trick’s pro­gram will take place at the next meet­ing on March 15.

There were six ta­bles of 45s in play at the South Ber­wick Com­mu­nity Hall, Feb. 13. Prize win­ners were first, Sharon Kil­cup; sec­ond, Roxie Red­den; third, Arthur Sals­man; fourth, Char­lie Fos­ter; 50/50, Mary Fraser and the door prize went to Shirley Rogers.

Feb. 23: Cof­fee and Conversation at the Ber­wick Li­brary from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Linda Fitz­patrick and Pat Lay­ton of the Ber­wick and Dis­trict Lionettes will be there to get the conversation started. Sit back and en­joy a tea or cof­fee and learn a lit­tle about the Lionettes.

Feb. 24: At the Ber­wick fire hall there will be fun and prizes for the whole fam­ily. It runs from 10 a.m. un­til 1 p.m.

*Nom­i­na­tions for the Sports Hall of Fame must be in to the town hall by the end of Fe­bru­ary.

The Town of Ber­wick will have out­door ac­tiv­i­ties tak­ing place dur­ing March break. Please reg­is­ter with Carol at 902-538-8068, Ext. 2.
