Plenty to do at the Berwick library
Cards continue to be a time of fellowship for a number of people in Berwick.
There were five tables of 45s in play at the South Berwick Community Centre on Feb. 20. Prizewinners were first, Shirley Rogers; second, Roxie Redden; third, Sharon Kilcup; fourth, Joan Balcom; 50/50, George Smith and the door prize was won by Roxie Redden.

On March 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Berwick and District Library is the Be Fit Kits, and everyone is encouraged to stop in and try them out. Throw, run, dance, play with parachutes, and try yoga. This is held in the gym at 236 Commercial St. in Berwick. All ages are welcome. The event is hosted by Annapolis Valley Regional Library, Berwick Recreation, and the Department of Community Culture & Heritage. March 14 is Whimsical Wednesday at the Berwick Library from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Drop by the library for crafts, activities and stories. This is for ages five to 10 years.
March 17 from 12:30 until 2 p.m., again at the library, is make your own Celtic art. This is for kids ages five to 12 years. Dress to make a mess!
Every Tuesday afternoon at the Berwick Library, from 1 to 3 p.m, is Afternoon of Games for people aged 55 and older. Bring a game from home or choose from the collection there.
