Amy Russell checks out a colourful pillow at the Ten Thousand Villages craft sale Oct. 27 at the Kentville fire hall. The sale is hosted annually by the Friends of Ten Thousand Villages-Annapolis Valley/Kentville, and features handcrafted home and gift items – everything from musical instruments, pottery and jewelry to baskets, toys and hand-loomed textiles. The items are made by artisans from 30 developing countries. “Everything is so pretty – I really can’t decide what I’m going to buy. Probably a few things,” said Russell.
