Have you ever been so pas­sion­ate about some­thing in your life that you can­not seem to be able to sep­a­rate your­self from this pas­sion? So pas­sion­ate that it be­comes an in­te­gral part of your life story. Oxana Babkina is such a per­son. Ever since she was a lit­tle girl her fa­vorite toys were coloured pen­cils, mark­ers, paint and paper! Back then all she wanted to do was cre­ate col­or­ful im­ages. Babkina is very thank­ful to her mother who al­ways en­cour­aged her artis­tic skills and pro­vided her with many op­por­tu­ni­ties to ex­plore her cre­ativ­ity. Since grad­u­at­ing from art school Babkina kept search­ing and ex­plor­ing dif­fer­ent medi­ums in­spire her work. When she tried work­ing with soft pas­tels, blend­ing the colours and shapes with and magic from her soul. Here she could for­get From paint­ing breath-tak­ing flow­ers, Oxana has found that her cur­rent pas­tel work is evolv­ing more into ab­stract visual art and is invit­ing her ad­mir­ers to ex­plore clouds of coloured smoke. She has been search­ing for in the im­agery and lets their mind go wild.
