re­sident of Mon­treal East, Ali­cia Al­leyne, pas­sed away on De­cem­ber 17th in Ed­mon­ton, just a couple of weeks shy of her 103rd bir­th­day. Be­lo­ved mo­ther of Jim­my, Cy­ril and Elea­nor, Ali­cia was a for­mer mem­ber of Mon­treal East Com­mu­ni­ty Church. Cy­ril, one of our outs­tan­ding ath­letes in the East End, men­tio­ned that his Mom was en­joying her life and was in good health right to the end. Our thoughts go out to the Al­leyne fa­mi­ly in­clu­ding Cy­ril’s step-sis­ters, Shir­ley, Pa­tri­cia, Diane and Ros­lyn.
