Now that summer is over, it’s time to get back to work – or at least to talk about it. After going through our June issue, which examined, among other topics, the increasing abandonment of open-concept office designs (“The Return to Privacy,” page 084), media strategist John Macpherson wrote via Linkedin to signal his approval. “I have worked in both [open-concept and formally organized] environments and have found that open-concept floor plans are less productive. While they may foster increased collaboration, they also create a lot of disruption and the potential for more time spent on staff socialization.” It wasn’t staff socialization (we swear!) that resulted in an error in the September issue’s back-of-book Spec Sheet on bathroom products, but a correction must be made nonetheless: On page 107, we identified the manufacturer of the AK/25 faucet by Paik Sun Kim as being solely Fantini. In fact, the faucet is manufactured by Aboutwater (aboutwater.it), which is a partnership between Fantini (fantiniusa.com) and Boffi (boffi.com). Please send future feedback on office design, faucets or any other subject of interest to feedback@azureonline.com
