A 17-year-old male has been arrested for attempted murder near Yonge Street and Churchill Avenue. On July 7, at 2:10 a.m., he and a 20-year-old male were socializing at a restaurant when the suspect stabbed the victim in the head, arms and torso. When the victim fled, the suspect turned his attention to a 27-year-old male sitting in his SUV nearby. The suspect ordered him out and stole the SUV, crashed it near Sheppard Avenue East and the DVP attempting to flee police and was then arrested. A dangerous suspect is wanted by Toronto Police Service (TPS) for a carjacking robbery investigation. On July 15, at 4:50 p.m., officers responded to a call for a person with a gun in the Dufferin Street and Lawrence Avenue West area. A male suspect driving a green Ford Focus became involved in a collision. When bystanders came to his aid, he emerged from the car and pointed a shotgun at them. He forced a female victim out of another vehicle at gunpoint and fled in the stolen car into oncoming traffic.
Four male suspects are wanted for a robbery that occurred near Spadina Road and Bloor Street West. On June 18, at 5:30 a.m., police officers responded to a call for a robbery in the area. Two male victims, 18 and 19 years old, were approached by a group of male suspects and assaulted. One of the suspects produced a knife. The victims were robbed of personal items including a unique 1970s Rolex watch. The suspects fled the scene by car. Security images of the suspects have been released.
