The Toronto Police Service (TPS) is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect who allegedly exposed himself on private property. On Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m., in the area of Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West, it is reported that a male suspect was standing, with his pants down, in front of a residential building with a daycare attached to the main floor. He then fled the area. His description has been posted on the TPS website. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
A 43-year-old female suspect has been arrested and charged with fraud over $5,000 in North York. Between October 2016 and August 2017, a female suspect took money from clients, under the pretense of a money transfer business operating from EJ’s Variety at 312 Wilson Ave. The clients were advised the money was to be sent to the Philippines. She provided receipts to clients for the money transfers under her business name FRU Remittance but she kept the money. There may be other victims.
A male acupuncturist operating out of New Wave Health Centre at 920 Sheppard Ave.W. near Wilson Heights Boulevard has been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of one of his patients. On Aug. 25, it is alleged that a 18-year-old female victim attended the health centre for acupuncture treatment when the accused sexually assaulted her. The 72-year-old accused was arrested Aug. 30. His name has been posted to the Toronto Police Service website. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
