The Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice (TPS) is re­quest­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance in iden­ti­fy­ing a male sus­pect who al­legedly ex­posed him­self on pri­vate prop­erty. On Sept. 15 at 5:30 p.m., in the area of Bathurst Street and Finch Av­enue West, it is re­ported that a male sus­pect was stand­ing, with his pants down, in front of a res­i­den­tial build­ing with a day­care at­tached to the main floor. He then fled the area. His de­scrip­tion has been posted on the TPS web­site. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact po­lice.

A 43-year-old fe­male sus­pect has been ar­rested and charged with fraud over $5,000 in North York. Be­tween October 2016 and Au­gust 2017, a fe­male sus­pect took money from clients, un­der the pre­tense of a money trans­fer busi­ness op­er­at­ing from EJ’s Va­ri­ety at 312 Wil­son Ave. The clients were ad­vised the money was to be sent to the Philip­pines. She pro­vided re­ceipts to clients for the money trans­fers un­der her busi­ness name FRU Remit­tance but she kept the money. There may be other vic­tims.

A male acupunc­tur­ist op­er­at­ing out of New Wave Health Cen­tre at 920 Shep­pard Ave.W. near Wil­son Heights Boule­vard has been ar­rested for the al­leged sex­ual as­sault of one of his pa­tients. On Aug. 25, it is al­leged that a 18-year-old fe­male vic­tim at­tended the health cen­tre for acupunc­ture treat­ment when the ac­cused sex­u­ally as­saulted her. The 72-year-old ac­cused was ar­rested Aug. 30. His name has been posted to the Toronto Po­lice Ser­vice web­site. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is asked to con­tact po­lice.
