A road rage dispute in the Duplex Avenue and Eglinton Avenue West area has led to the arrest of a 58-year-old male suspect. On April 19, at approximately 5:32 p.m., a male suspect walking on the sidewalk and a 35-year-old female victim in her car got into an argument. The suspect allegedly kicked the victim’s car, and when she exited her car to speak with him, she was struck multiple times in the face. Several citizens, along with an off-duty Toronto Police Service (TPS) officer, were able to end the assault and place the suspect under arrest. TPS was called to the scene, and the suspect was later charged with assault and mischief.

A dangerous driving incident in the Annex has the Toronto Police Service (TPS) looking for witnesses. On April 10, at about 3 p.m., TPS received a call in the St. George Street and College Street area. It is alleged that a female suspect followed a female victim, 29, in a vehicle, mounted the curb and yelled at her. Numerous people filmed the incident with their cellphones. The suspect then followed the 29-yearold victim until she sought refuge in a store on College Street. Anyone with information should call TPS.

Two North York robberies have led to the arrest of two 25-year-old male suspects and a 33-year-old female suspect from Toronto. On March 27, at 6:30 p.m., two male suspects wearing masks were driven to a convenience store in the Willowdale Avenue south of Finch Avenue East area. They entered the store, armed with a rifle and demanded cash and cigarettes before they fled in a car. Days later, on March 30 at 10:40 p.m., two masked male suspects approached a male victim in the parking lot of a bank in the Sheppard Avenue East and Willowdale Avenue area. The suspects pointed an assault rifle at the victim and made a demand for cash and valuables. When the suspects then approached a 29-year-old woman nearby, demanding her jacket and cellphone, the male victim ran. One of the suspects fired approximately seven rounds from a rifle at the male victim, who was not struck by any of the bullets. In regard to both incidents, the Toronto Police Service (TPS) arrested and charged the two male suspects on April 4, and the female suspect was apprehended April 5. A SKS rifle was recovered during the investigation.

A 39-year-old male suspect has been charged for the sexual assault of three female victims travelling on the University and Yonge subway line. On April 4, at 7:45 a.m., a female victim was travelling northbound from Osgoode subway station to Sheppard West station when a male suspect sat down, leaving one seat between himself and the victim. It is alleged that he placed a coat between the two seats, extended his arm and sexually assaulted her. On April 13, at 9:15 a.m., police believe the same suspect sexually assaulted another female victim at the Sheppard West subway station. On April 16, at 6:55 a.m., the same suspect has been accused of sexually assaulting a third female victim who boarded the southbound train at St. George subway station. His photo has been posted on the Toronto Police Service website. Police believe there are more victims.
