In his February Watercooler column, Steve Burgess lamented the loss of services that once were free. Although Mary Grace Kosta (@marygkosta) agreed, tweeting, “*sigh* I remember when we got a choice of a hot meal, free booze, magazines and leg room on economy flights,” Cameron Macleod (@c_9) pointed out that “they weren’t free: we paid for them. Airfare is significantly cheaper today than 35 years ago.”
