Best Health - - LETTERS - KAREN GILMAN

In recent months, the College of Dietitians in Alberta has taken ownership of the term ‘nutritionist’ because they believe that the public is being confused between dietitians that call themselves ‘nutritionists’ and ‘holistic nutritionists’. As a result, graduates from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition (CSNN) Alberta now call themselves Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultants instead of Certified Holistic Nutritionists. As Community Relations Administrator at CSNN, I wanted to clarify that our Certified Holistic Nutritional Consultants have been playing a key role in our healthcare system for over 20 years. Our graduates have been working with clients providing them with the tools to make healthy eating and living choices.
