DEAR READERS, THANKS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK. HERE ARE A FEW OF OUR FAVOURITE LETTERS THIS ISSUE.

Best Health - - EDITOR’S LETTER - LANA HOOD

Once again, there are several great articles in this issue. “Tired? Maybe It’s Not Sleep Related” was of particular interest to me. As I continue to age, a good night’s sleep is getting harder and harder to achieve. There were several good suggestions that I will follow up on. Thank you much for such good information! RUTH PICKERING I love all of the health tips and advice. As a nurse, I think health education is so important! I’m glad we have a magazine that gives good and accurate health information to improve people’s lives. ALYSSA REGNIER When you’re trying to eat healthy and balanced, it’s easy to get bored and not feel full, but your recipe ideas are wonderfully satisfying and delicious. MARIANGELA CORTESE In your August/ September issue, there was a quiz to rate your health. I agree with everything covered in the quiz, with the exception of cholesterol. I watched a TVO documentary on cholesterol and their conclusion (I am paraphrasing here) appears to show that bad cholesterol (or cholesterol value, in general) does not have a significant link to heart attack. Their findings appear to point out that the culprit is sugar, which you also featured in this issue. SYLVIE TREPANIER I saw your magazine at my friend’s place and I was blown away by the high-quality content. I’m a new fan of the magazine! EDIMA UDO Seeing Dudley enjoy Best Health brings joy to my day! We both appreciated the “Rate Your Health” quiz this month – maybe we aren’t as healthy as we think. Thanks for sharing! AMANDA ABBOTT AND DUDLEY THE BULLDOG There are too many that either: a) do not add any value to your life or b) have a negative impact on your life and self-esteem.

Best Health is one of the few magazines that actually aims to improve

the lives of people through spreading the word of healthy living. That is a quality that I admire greatly in a publication: the capacity to make the world better, not worse. ERICA MORRILL

Best Health is for me and other real women! I never feel bad reading it because the pictures are of real women with practical articles for us, compared to other mags that offer idealized images and make me feel less than. I’m thankful for a publication that’s realistic, informative and optimistic! REBECCA WETTLAUFER I love the fact that Best Health promotes not just a fad or time-bound activity but a perspective on life that strives to make every moment more enjoyable, memorable and meaningful, whether it’s around how you look, feel or interact with the world! PATRICK VOO Your articles provide sensible advice that I can easily incorporate into my lifestyle. The “Trends With Benefits” feature in the August/ September issue was of particular interest to me, because fall is a great time to tweak my routine and incorporate some healthier habits into my day-to-day life.
