Writing Broken Pencil encourages submissions of original articles, essays and columns relating to the subject of independent arts and culture. Please send article proposals and inquiries to email@example.com. If you would like to become a regular reviewer for Broken Pencil, please email your areas of interest and samples of your work to assisteditor@ brokenpencil.com.
Artwork Broken Pencil encourages submissions of artwork to be considered for use in our folio showcase of independent artists. Please send proposals to art@brokenpencil. com. If you would like to become a regular illustrator for Broken Pencil, please send a letter and samples of your work to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Fiction Broken Pencil accepts submissions of short fiction (50-2,000 words) between February 1st and September 15th, and for Indie Writers’ Deathmatch between September 16th and December 21st. For more information visit brokenpencil. com/submissions.
