JAL Sky Suite 777 to Ser­vice Narita-JFK

Be­gin­ning in early May 2013, Ja­pan Air­lines has an­nounced that it’s de­ploy­ing its Boe­ing 777-300ER air­craft out­fit­ted with the new Sky Suite 777 on the long-haul route be­tween Tokyo Narita and NewYork John F. Kennedy.

The sig­nif­i­cant im­prove­ments in spa­cious­ness and func­tion­al­ity of all seats, in­clud­ing fully flat seats in busi­ness class, and a new level of in-flight ser­vice in ev­ery class aboard the air­liner are spe­cially de­signed to pro­vide a unique on­board ex­pe­ri­ence. The Sky Suite 777 con­fig­u­ra­tion was ini­tially de­ployed on the Narita – Lon­don route be­gin­ning in Jan­uary.

Mean­while, JAL SKY WiFi, the car­rier’s in-flight in­ter­net ser­vice, which is be­ing of­fered on the NewYork, Chicago, Los An­ge­les and Jakarta routes, will be ex­panded se­quen­tially on Euro­pean routes be­gin­ning in April.
