The Old Stone Farm­house

The Old Stone Farm­house is sit­u­ated in a 200-year old, re­stored plan­ta­tion Run Golf Course. The stone walls, arch­ways, shut­tered win­dows and lovely court­yard with foun­tain re­sound with his­tory. More than two cen­turies ago the build­ing was the core of a Dan­ish su­gar plan­ta­tion. The grace­ful arches, two foot-thick walls and ma­jes­tic rafters are rem­i­nis­cent of St. Thomas dur­ing ship trade, su­gar plan­ta­tions on lush rolling hills and aris­to­cratic man­sions of pros­per­ous mer­chants.
