Qatar has launched its new loyalty program, the Privilege Club. New features include the addition of the platinum tier, new tier qualification and renewal thresholds, a new reward benefit called Qcredits and new membership benefits.

The platinum tier is the highest level in the program for members who meet the upgrade threshold of 600 Qpoints. Among the new requirements, 150 Qpoints are needed for the silver tier and 300 Qpoints for the gold tier. The Privilege Club tier and burgundy tier have been merged into one burgundy tier, the base level of the program with no qualification required.

Qcredits can be earned by gold and platinum members and used for benefits such as a single cabin upgrade, two cabin upgrades, excess baggage, award fee payments and guest lounge access at Doha International Airport.
