PLAZA PREMIUM LOUNGE KEMPEGOWDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, BENGALURU
Location: Airside of Bengaluru International Airport in Bangalore, India – one in international departures and the other in domestic departures.
Opening date: The domestic lounge is now open, and the one in international departures is scheduled to open this Spring.
Accessible to: Another of Plaza Premium’s pay-per-use properties, the lounges are open to any passenger with entry fees starting at RP1000 ($16) plus tax for two hours.
Design: Created by Australian Mitchel Squires, the lounges showcase Bangalore’s reputation as“The Garden City,”offering glass ceilings, lush greenery and timber furnishings.
Features: A selection of food and beverages, a seating area, shower facilities, a business center and a spa and massage area. In addition to the two post-security lounges, Plaza Premium is also opening a Day Hotel located landside. The property will be Bengaluru’s first transit hotel service. Open 24 hours, the 65,700-square-foot property will have rooms with a shower facilities, beds, WiFi, TV and an intercom system. Rooms can be rented overnight or for a number of hours – pricing details have yet to be set.
