JW Mar­riott De­buts First LEED Gold Ho­tel in Seoul

JW Mar­riott Ho­tels & Re­sorts has ex­panded its lux­ury port­fo­lio in South Korea with the un­veil­ing of the JW Mar­riott Dong­dae­mun Square Seoul, the first ho­tel in the city to re­ceive LEED Gold cer­ti­fi­ca­tion. Ideally lo­cated in the midst of Seoul’s fash­ion district, the property is the sec­ond JW Mar­riott to open in Seoul and the first in­ter­na­tional lux­ury busi­ness ho­tel in Dong­dae­mun.

The new ho­tel has 170 gue­strooms, in­clud­ing 19 Ex­ec­u­tive Sky View Rooms and 15 Suites. A ded­i­cated Ex­ec­u­tive Lounge serves the Ex­ec­u­tive Floor rooms, and the fa­cil­i­ties in­clude over 10,000 square feet of meet­ing space, an in­door lap pool, fit­ness cen­ter and The JW Spa. Food and bev­er­age op­tions in­clude two restaurants, a lounge, a bak­ery with an open kitchen and the roof-top Grif­fin Bar over­look­ing the city’s East Gate.
