ANA Rolls Out WiFi Ser­vice on In­ter­na­tional Routes

Pas­sen­gers aboard se­lect ANA in­ter­na­tional flights are now able to pur­chase In­ter­net ac­cess us­ing the new ANA WiFi Ser­vice. Pas­sen­gers will be able to use their own de­vices to surf the web, ac­cess e-mail and up­date so­cial net­works.

The ser­vice will be pro­vided in part­ner­ship with JSAT Mo­bile Com­mu­ni­ca­tions which sup­ports the In­ter­net OnAir WiFi ser­vice in Ja­pan. ANA’s WiFi ser­vice is avail­able on all class of selected in­ter­na­tional flights op­er­ated aboard Boe­ing 777300ER and Boe­ing 767-300ER air­craft. The ser­vice is suit­able for any wire­less LAN-en­abled de­vice, such as smart­phones and tablets, al­though PCs are not rec­om­mended.

Dif­fer­ent us­age plans are avail­able rang­ing from 5MB for $6 up to 20MB for $24. Pay­ments are ac­cepted by credit card only.
