Since the arrival of the newly designed ed Terminals in 1997, Reagan National’s Terminal A has suffered comparison. The good news is that some me renovations were completed in 2013 and security checkpoints are currently being expanded. And according to the Washington Airport Authority, when this phase is complete, work will begin on new shops and restaurants.

There are plans for publicly accessible iPads and charging stations as well as full-service dining. In addition there will be food, beverage and retail options. And, to top it all off, Terminal A will feature the airport’s first full-service spa. All of the work is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2015.
