South African Airways Resumes Nonstop JNB-JFK – South African Airways (SAA) has resumed its popular daily nonstop ights between Johannesburg, South Africa, and New York – JFK International Airport, beginning March 9.
While SAA’s outbound New York-Johannesburg ight has continued to operate on a nonstop daily basis, the return ight has been making a refuelling stop in Dakar, Senegal, due in part to lower travel demand during the winter months. The evening departure is timed to arrive in New York in the early morning.

Aeromexico Adds Madrid Service
– Aeromexico is increasing its seating capacity to Madrid with three additional evening flights scheduled to begin in May 2014. Of the 10 weekly ights between Madrid and Mexico City, seven will be aboard Boeing 777 aircraft, and three on Boeing 787’s.
Aeromexico is the only carrier using the 787 between Europe and Mexico.

American Fields New Daily Flights
to Asia – Partnering with oneworld alliance member Japan Airlines, American Airlines will begin daily service June 11 between Dallas/ Ft. Worth (DFW) and Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport (PVG) ying Boeing 777-200 aircraft.
