Mu­nich Air­port Ho­tel

Hil­ton World­wide has an­nounced an agree­ment with the present own­ers that clears the way to launch the Hil­ton Mu­nich Air­port. The ho­tel is cur­rently op­er­at­ing as Kempinksi Mu­nich Air­port Ho­tel and is the only ho­tel with a di­rect link to the air­port’s main ter­mi­nal build­ing.

The property now has 389 rooms, and an additional 160 rooms are planned as a part of a ren­o­va­tion sched­uled for com­ple­tion in 2017. Upon com­ple­tion of the con­struc­tion, the ho­tel will be re­flagged the Hil­ton Mu­nich Air­port, and of­fer sub­stan­tial meet­ings and con­fer­ence spa­ces, along with a Fit & Fly spa area and a range of new food and bev­er­age op­tions.

“Mu­nich is one of Europe’s busiest air­ports, with al­most 40 mil­lion pas­sen­gers us­ing the air­port each year,”said Rob Palleschi, global head of Hil­ton Ho­tels & Re­sorts.“We look for­ward to wel­com­ing Hil­ton Mu­nich Air­port as one of more than 50 air­port prop­er­ties now op­er­at­ing world­wide and the 13th Hil­ton brand ho­tel in Ger­many.”
