Southwest Scimitar Slices Fares
Southwest has a new “doohickey”on their planes according to their latest promotion. The winglets, called split scimitars, save fuel and consumers get in on the action. According to Southwest’s website,“These new winglets will help save us approximately 3.5 - 5.5 percent in fuel costs, and we’re passing those savings on to you in the form of sale fares as low as $69 one-way.”
Flights must be booked for travel between August 25 and October 30 and they hit lots of cities from Akron-Canton, OH to Boston Logan, Denver to Love Field in Dallas and both Dulles and Reagan National in Washington, DC.
