BEST WESTERN YOKO­HAMA OPENS ITS DOORS

Best Western In­ter­na­tional has opened a new property in the Ja­panese port city ofYoko­hama. The ho­tel is lo­cated in the Tsu­rumi ward of the city, close to the bay area. It is within a walk­ing dis­tance from the JR Tsu­rumi train sta­tion, and is a 20 minute drive from Tokyo Haneda Air­port. The ho­tel of­fers 185 gue­strooms in sin­gle, dou­ble, twin and triple con­fig­u­ra­tions. All rooms come equipped with flatscreen TVs with satel­lite chan­nels and free WiFi. There is also a restau­rant on­site that of­fers com­pli­men­tary daily break­fast.

For events, Best WesternYoko­hama of­fers over 1,000 square feet of meet­ing space ca­pa­ble of host­ing events for up to 60 at­ten­dees.

As the sec­ond largest city in Ja­pan by pop­u­la­tion,Yoko­hama is a pop­u­lar ship­ping gate­way into Ja­pan, and boasts a strong eco­nomic base in biotech­nol­ogy and semi­con­duc­tor in­dus­tries. It is also home to coun­try’s main cruise ter­mi­nal, and a ma­jor commercial hub of the Greater Tokyo Area.
