New York City’s LaGuardia Air­port (LGA) Ter­mi­nal B with the open­ing of new shops, restau­rants and ser­vices. The open­ings are part of an over­all strat­egy to up­grade the food and re­tail of­fer­ings while plan­ning con­tin­ues on a new ter­mi­nal.

Re­tail shops lo­cated in the cen­ter of the ter­mi­nal in­clude Tumi, La­coste and Ed­die Bauer on the De­par­tures Level. New restau­rant op­tions in­clude Sor­ren­tine Panini Bar, Bow­ery Bay Tav­ern and Six Blocks Bak­ery, which serves pas­tries from the famed Balt­hazar Bak­ery in Man­hat­tan.

Ex­press opened in late sum­mer and of­fers up­graded lounge ser­vices to Amex card­hold­ers. Tem­po­rary ChargeBars have been in­stalled in two store lo­ca­tions that are await­ing con­struc­tion where trav­el­ers can charge up for free, from10:00 AM to
