United Boosts MileagePlus Bonus Points
United is making it easy for its MileagePlus members to earn up to 12,000 bonus miles for every qualifying flight flown with United. Now through Feb. 28, members can earn bonus award miles when flying qualifying flight segments booked in the airline’s firstand business-class cabins at premium fares.
On flights of at least 3,000 miles, United’s Premier 1K and Global Services members will earn 12,000 bonus miles, Premier Platinum, Gold and Silver members will earn 6,000 miles and non-elite frequentfliers will earn 3,000 bonus miles. The bonus also applies to United’s premium service flights between NewYork JFK and both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Shorter flights earn fewer bonus points, depending on status. The airline says“deeply discounted”business class fares are not eligible for the bonus.
No registration is required. Bonus miles will be credited automatically. The bonus applies to premium-cabin tickets booked on United and United Express, as well as United-marketed flights operated by partners Air Canada, ANA, Austrian, Brussels Airlines, Copa, Lufthansa and Swiss.
