World­ho­tels Teams with Air Asia BIG G

The in­de­pen­dent ho­tel al­liance World­ho­tels has launched d a part­ner­ship with its first low-cost car­rier, Air Asia. Mem­bers of the car­rier’s loy­alty pro­gram, Air Asia BIG, can now ac­cu­mu­late fre­quent flyer points for their qual­i­fy­ing stays at any of World­ho­tels’ prop­er­ties glob­ally. The points can then be used to re­deem flights with Air Asia.

Trav­el­ers start earn­ing at 700 BIG points per stay, but to celebrate the launch of the part­ner­ship World­ho­tels will of­fer dou­ble points – start­ing at 1,400 points – for all book­ings made through to Oc­to­ber 12.

With the ad­di­tion of Air Asia, the ho­tel al­liance now has s 25 sup­ported fre­quent flyer pro­grams, in­clud­ing Cathay Pa­cific, Asiana and Sin­ga­pore Air­lines.
