Personalized Experiences and High Tech Top Travelers Wish Lists
In the future travelers will tap into both high-tech options and high-touch human service in order to achieve the ultimate travel experience, according to new research from American Express Travel. Of more than 1,000 consumers surveyed, 93 percent of respondents said that despite recent digital advances in the travel industry, the value of personal service cannot be replaced.
In addition, 83 percent of Millennials said they are willing to have brands track their habits in exchange for a more personalized experience. But technology still wins when it comes to certain aspects of travel; 76 percent of all respondents said they use technology to book flights and hotels, and 60 percent said they use it check in to flights or hotels.
