LOT Introduces Bitcoin Capability

Business Traveler (USA) - - UPFRONT -

LOT Polish Airlines is introducing the capability to use Bitcoins to pay for tickets on lot.com, as well as in the mobile

version and via mobile app. All transactions are handled by PSP, an online currency payment platform.

The transaction uses the currency of the market where the ticket is purchased (e.g. zloty in Poland, euros in Germany, dollars in the US). At the payment stage, the PSP platform converts the purchase price into Bitcoins. After the amount is approved and the purchase button clicked, the customer will be redirected to the Bitcoin wallet, and the transaction will be finalized. The new payment method is available to everybody who has a Bitcoin wallet, and is an active user of this currency. Bitcoins can be used to pay for any LOT flight in the majority of the markets where the airline sells tickets. Detailed information on the rules of payment, including by means of Bitcoin, can be found on lot.com.
