JAL UP­GRADES BUSI­NESS CLASS SEATS

Ja­pan Air­lines has been in­tro­duc­ing the JAL SKY SUITE on se­lect in­ter­na­tional routes aboard its 777, 767 and 787 fleets. Now the air­line has an­nounced that it will in­clude the re­newed cabin in­te­rior on the Boe­ing 777-200ER, des­ig­nat­ing it JAL SKY SUITE 777 (SS2).

The re­vamped air­craft will op­er­ate on the Tokyo-Haneda to Bangkok route be­gin­ning in July 2016. In ad­di­tion, it will also be in­tro­duced on the Tokyo-Haneda to Sin­ga­pore route, and will ex­pand onto JAL’s Honolulu route be­gin­ning this win­ter.

The new fully flat seat, JAL SKY SUITE III, pro­vides un­ob­structed aisle ac­cess for ev­ery seat in the Busi­ness Class. Fur­ther­more, the JAL SKY PRE­MIUM seat will be in­tro­duced in the Pre­mium Econ­omy Class., and the seat in the Econ­omy Class will be re­placed with JAL SKY WIDER, which of­fers an in­creased seat pitch con­fig­ured in a 3-4-2 lay­out, both to max­i­mize seat ca­pac­ity and aisle ac­ces­si­bil­ity.
