JAL UPGRADES BUSINESS CLASS SEATS
Japan Airlines has been introducing the JAL SKY SUITE on select international routes aboard its 777, 767 and 787 fleets. Now the airline has announced that it will include the renewed cabin interior on the Boeing 777-200ER, designating it JAL SKY SUITE 777 (SS2).
The revamped aircraft will operate on the Tokyo-Haneda to Bangkok route beginning in July 2016. In addition, it will also be introduced on the Tokyo-Haneda to Singapore route, and will expand onto JAL’s Honolulu route beginning this winter.
The new fully flat seat, JAL SKY SUITE III, provides unobstructed aisle access for every seat in the Business Class. Furthermore, the JAL SKY PREMIUM seat will be introduced in the Premium Economy Class., and the seat in the Economy Class will be replaced with JAL SKY WIDER, which offers an increased seat pitch configured in a 3-4-2 layout, both to maximize seat capacity and aisle accessibility.
