Emi­rates has an­nounced changes to its cor­po­rate loy­alty pro­gram, Emi­rates Busi­ness Re­wards. The sim­pli­fied pro­gram of­fers eas­ier re­demp­tions and up­grades even on last minute reser­va­tions. Af­ter sur­vey­ing over 800 busi­ness trav­el­ers in the UAE, the com­pany found the key de­ci­sion mak­ing fac­tors were price, tim­ing and value for the money.

New fea­tures in­clude the abil­ity to use Busi­ness Re­wards Points to book any com­mer­cially avail­able seat at any time. An­other en­hance­ment al­lows ‘guest trav­el­ers’– such as con­sul­tants or clients – to pro­gram, while users will still earn Busi­ness Re­wards. The on­line book­ing sys­tem has also been sim­pli­fied with a new dash­board for users to man­age and book ser­vices as well as mon­i­tor savings.
