United, Southwest and JetBlue Launch Havana Services
With the relaxation of restrictions on travel to Cuba, the end of 2016 saw three more US airlines begin service to Havana’s Josè Martì International Airport. United Airlines launched daily nonstops from Newark’s Liberty Airport as well as nonstop service from Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport.
Havana became Southwest Airline’s 100th Tampa and twice daily service from Fort Lauderdale. Days later the airline added number 101 with service to Santa Clara, Cuba.
Havana also became JetBlue’s 100th destination when the carrier launched service Lauderdale.

Hong Kong Airlines Announces Vancouver Route
Hong Kong Airlines will begin a non-stop daily service between Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) and Vancouver International Airport (YVR) beginning June 30. The airline will initially operate the route using an Airbus 330-200 with 283 seats.
