Ex­pands Ser­vice in the US and Europe

United Air­lines is en­hanc­ing its route net­work with more des­ti­na­tions, more flights and more con­ve­nient con­nec­tions in both do­mes­tic and in­ter­na­tional mar­kets. Sub­ject to gov­ern­ment ap­proval, the car­rier will add a sea­sonal route be­tween San Fran­cisco and Mu­nich, be­gin­ning on May 24. The flight will be op­er­ated by a 787 Dream­liner.

Be­gin­ning May 5, United will op­er­ate one of its Ne­wark-Tel Aviv flights with a Boe­ing 777-300ER. The air­line is also grow­ing its do­mes­tic net­work, adding more con­nec­tions and ad­di­tional ser­vice to 30 des­ti­na­tions across the US.

The car­rier is adding ser­vice to thir­teen ci­ties, in­clud­ing four new des­ti­na­tions: Cham­paign/Ur­bana, IL; Columbia, MO; Rochester, MN and United’s short­est flight to Santa Rosa, CA. United is also in­tro­duc­ing daily sum­mer ser­vice in six mar­kets. Flights to Salt Lake City, Fort Laud­erdale, Tuc­son and New Or­leans not pre­vi­ously of­fered in the sum­mer, will now move to year round ser­vice.

In to­tal, United is adding 47 new daily round trips to its do­mes­tic sched­ule.Visit united.com for de­tails. The Wil­liams­burg Ho­tel opens in its name­sake neigh­bor­hood in Brook­lyn with 150-rooms in an eight-story build­ing. The ho­tel will have a phased open­ing with gue­strooms and the lobby bar cur­rently avail­able to guests.

Later this win­ter, the Har­vey restau­rant by Chef Adam Leonti will en­ter the din­ing scene in Brook­lyn with a grain and veg­etable­fo­cus. The fi­nal phases will in­clude a rooftop pool, wa­ter tower bar and the grand ball­room with ca­pac­ity for 400 guests.

The prop­erty plans to the honor the his­tory of the neigh­bor­hood and use lo­cally sourced items for guests. This in­cludes the hand­made bath ameni­ties made in Brook­lyn by the small batch fac­tory, Apotheke.
