Expands Service in the US and Europe
United Airlines is enhancing its route network with more destinations, more flights and more convenient connections in both domestic and international markets. Subject to government approval, the carrier will add a seasonal route between San Francisco and Munich, beginning on May 24. The flight will be operated by a 787 Dreamliner.
Beginning May 5, United will operate one of its Newark-Tel Aviv flights with a Boeing 777-300ER. The airline is also growing its domestic network, adding more connections and additional service to 30 destinations across the US.
The carrier is adding service to thirteen cities, including four new destinations: Champaign/Urbana, IL; Columbia, MO; Rochester, MN and United’s shortest flight to Santa Rosa, CA. United is also introducing daily summer service in six markets. Flights to Salt Lake City, Fort Lauderdale, Tucson and New Orleans not previously offered in the summer, will now move to year round service.

The Williamsburg Hotel opens in its namesake neighborhood in Brooklyn with 150-rooms in an eight-story building. The hotel will have a phased opening with guestrooms and the lobby bar currently available to guests.
Later this winter, the Harvey restaurant by Chef Adam Leonti will enter the dining scene in Brooklyn with a grain and vegetablefocus. The final phases will include a rooftop pool, water tower bar and the grand ballroom with capacity for 400 guests.
The property plans to the honor the history of the neighborhood and use locally sourced items for guests. This includes the handmade bath amenities made in Brooklyn by the small batch factory, Apotheke.
