Global Airport Traffic Rises Three Years in a Row –
increased 6.4 percent across the world’s airports in 2017, according to annual data from Airports Council International World. Growth was above 6 percent for the third year in a row.
Despite concerns over geopolitical tensions, global travel and tourism remained saw gains of 3.5 percent year-over-year in 2017. This is above its average 1.1 percent annual increases over the last two decades.
According to research from InsureMyTrip, New York’s LaGuardia reported the high
rates were Denver International, Seattle/Tacoma International, Minneapolis-St Paul, Phoenix Sky and Salt Lake City.
