Global Airport Traffic Rises Three Years in a Row –

increased 6.4 percent across the world’s airports in 2017, according to annual data from Airports Council Internatio­nal World. Growth was above 6 percent for the third year in a row.

Despite concerns over geopolitic­al tensions, global travel and tourism remained saw gains of 3.5 percent year-over-year in 2017. This is above its average 1.1 percent annual increases over the last two decades.

According to research from InsureMyTr­ip, New York’s LaGuardia reported the high

rates were Denver Internatio­nal, Seattle/Tacoma Internatio­nal, Minneapoli­s-St Paul, Phoenix Sky and Salt Lake City.
