QAN­TAS has an­nounced plans to give six of its in­ter­na­tional, do­mes­tic and re­gional lounges a re­fresh as part of a new mul­ti­mil­lion dol­lar ren­o­va­tion plan. Lounges set for ren­o­va­tion in­clude Auck­land, Bris­bane, Ho­bart, Syd­ney, Tam­worth and Tokyo. This in ad­di­tion to the car­rier’s cur­rent on­go­ing up­grades in Mel­bourne and the Syd­ney In­ter­na­tional Busi­ness Lounge.

Syd­ney In­ter­na­tional First, the air­line’s flag­ship lounge, will in­crease in size and get an over­all re­vamp. The First and Busi­ness Lounges in Auck­land will be com­bined into a sin­gle lounge with re­gional New Zealand-in­spired touches. The Bris­bane In­ter­na­tional Lounge, which has been open a lit­tle un­der two years, is be­ing ex­panded and the Qan­tas In­ter­na­tional Busi­ness Lounge at Tokyo Narita is get­ting a new de­sign.
