QANTAS has announced plans to give six of its international, domestic and regional lounges a refresh as part of a new multimillion dollar renovation plan. Lounges set for renovation include Auckland, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Tamworth and Tokyo. This in addition to the carrier’s current ongoing upgrades in Melbourne and the Sydney International Business Lounge.
Sydney International First, the airline’s flagship lounge, will increase in size and get an overall revamp. The First and Business Lounges in Auckland will be combined into a single lounge with regional New Zealand-inspired touches. The Brisbane International Lounge, which has been open a little under two years, is being expanded and the Qantas International Business Lounge at Tokyo Narita is getting a new design.
