Townhomes back by popular demand
It’s the right formula for today’s buyers. Sabal Homes has put the right ingredients together for affordable living in style and it has just now launched the third edition of one of its most popular concepts — Chalet townhomes.
The homes come with Sabal’s “stylish twist,” says Kendra Milne, marketing manager of Sabal, which is under the umbrella of the Hopewell Group of Companies.
“High quality standard finishes, synchronicity of warm and cool palettes, and a maintenance-free lifestyle shape our newest interpretation of Chalet in Copperfield,” Milne says.
“The designs are timeless, yet they improved upon a modern functionality.”
The latest Chalet features homes from 1,300 square feet to 1,460 square feet with some double-or single-car attached garages. Fifty-six homes are in the project and prices start in the $260,000s.
Standard features include ninefoot ceilings on the main floor, laminate and ceramic tile floors, an appliance package with choice of black or stainless steel, and more.
Construction has started and first move-ins will be by mid 2010. A sales centre has just opened on the corner of Copperpond Road S.E. at Copperfield Boulevard.
“This is a revival of the spirit of the original chalet, with its generous use of wood and glass, its casual warmth and its open, easy-going vibe,” Milne says. “It is a style that combines the conveniences of a townhome condominium with the ambiance of a rustic retreat, and it is so perfectly in sync with the desires of today’s lifestyle-oriented homeowners.”
This is Sabal’s 25th anniversary and to celebrate, the company has a goal to reach a total contribution to charity in Alberta of $15,000.
“For each home sold during our 15th anniversary celebration, a $150 contribution is made in either Calgary or Edmonton to the Children’s Cottage Society or Kids Kottage Foundation,” says Milne. “In consultation with our employees, overwhelmingly we agreed that giving back to the community is an important component of what this celebration means to us.”
Copperfield is a Hopewell com- munity that has numerous ponds, green spaces, walking trails, and a large residents’ club for homeowners to enjoy.
It is located close to Highway 22X and Deerfoot Trail south so access is easy.
It’s also near the High Street shops and services and just a short drive to the extensive shopping on 130th Avenue S.E.
