Construction gets nod
There is still life in Calgary’s multi-family housing construction sector. The City of Calgary says 78 permits for 346 units were approved in September at a total value of $52 million. The same month last year, 30 permits were cleared for construction of 51 units at a value of $6.4 million. Six residential projects were OK’d last month, including two blocks of Milano by Trico, and Zen in Aspen by Avalon Master Builder.
