Enjoy outdoors in Harvest Mosaic within Cranston
In the summer, nothing beats a home that includes a place to enjoy the outdoors.
Sometimes, that’s a back or front deck — and other times, it’s a sun-drenched balcony. The benefits offered by balconies will sure make homebuyers take a second look at the condos at Harvest Mosaic, a project by Brookfield Homes in the southeast community of Cranston.
One of the floor plans at the project is a 1,388-squarefoot design called the Olive loft. It’s a single-level living space that will be built over a basement garage.
This model’s great room steps out to an expansive 25-foot, sixinch by eight-foot balcony.
The front-facing balcony has a pre-finished aluminum railing with vinyl decking. When the sun comes out, this is where buyers can spend all their downtime, whether it be curled up with a novel and a glass of wine, or playing host to friends or family.
The deck isn’t the only part of this plan that takes advantage of the sunshine. Big vinyl-clad, energy-efficient windows in the great room and the adjacent dining area let natural light pour across this open-concept home.
The great room’s focal point is a stylish, modern fireplace with space for shelves, photos or artwork on either side.
Across from the great room is a big and airy, galley-style kitchen under a nine-foot ceiling. It has stainless-steel appliances, a built-in dishwasher and microwave hood fan, laminate counters and a ceramic tile backsplash.
Around the corner from the kitchen is a master bedroom and two secondary bedrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite that accesses a walk-in closet.
Across the hall from the secondary bedrooms is a full bathroom and a laundry room with a front-load washer and dryer.
Both bathrooms in the floor plan feature a one-piece, shower-and-tub combination bordered with one row of ceramic tiles. The bathrooms have white plumbing fixtures, an exterior centred bath fan and laminate vanities.
Harvest Mosaic floor plans range from 720 to 1,450 square feet and come in one-, two- and three-bedroom orientations.
