Buyers salute Brookfield
A division for Brookfield Residential in Calgary was marked among the best in Canada by its customers in a nationwide survey.
Brookfield Residential’s multi-family division captured the 2014 Avid Benchmark Award.
“The importance of the award is that it demonstrates the outstanding effort that our Brookfield employees are being acknowledged for,” says Wendy Jabusch, Brookfield vice-president of Calgary homes. “We really appreciate the recognition from our homeowners. Obviously, exceptional service is one of our intrinsic values and it’s nice to have that recognition come through.”
The Benchmark Award is earned by the second and third place companies that rank among the top 25 per cent in the survey. The other Benchmark Award in Alberta went to Galko Homes in Lethbridge.
Brookfield’s multi-family division builds in three southeast Calgary communities. It offers townhomes in Auburn Bay, Cranston, McKenzie Towne and Riverstone of Cranston.
One of the company’s top priorities and a reason for high marks from its purchasers is that Brookfield focuses on understanding the customer’s needs, says Jabusch
“From there, being responsive to those needs and building that relationship through the entire process from when someone first walks into our show home right through to the one-year anniversary of their move-in date and beyond,” Jabusch adds.
Last year, Brookfield’s multifamily division in Calgary won the Avid Gold Award which is the trophy for the top score in each province. This year, that honour was again won by Brookfield but this time by its multi-family division in Edmonton.
Vice-president of Alberta Homes at Brookfield Residential Ian Nash calls the wins in Edmonton and Calgary an honour.
“We consider it a privilege to build Albertans their dream homes, and thank our customers for choosing to build with us,” says Nash. “These AVID awards are truly a testament of our employees’ desire to create the best places for Alber- tans to call home.”
Avid Ratings Canada is a customer loyalty management firm that uses a survey and database to determine a builder’s index score. This score comes from the homebuyers’ willingness to refer, total home buying experience and the number of recommendations buyers have made.
“We are thrilled to honour the winners of the 2014 Avid Awards, who have all set the highest standards for home quality and customer service across Canada,” says Tim Bailey, division president of Avid Ratings Canada in a news release.
“These awards give future buyers the confidence that there is a builder in their region who will deliver an exceptional new home and buying experience.”
