Video sheds light on Cohen’s life

A new music video assembled by Leonard Cohen's son and another longtime collaborator is giving fans an intimate glimpse of the late Montreal-born singer. Travelling Light, directed by Sammy Slabbinck, was posted online Thursday and offers archival and previously unseen footage. Its opening scene features Cohen sitting on a porch reflecting on his health. “I feel a lot stronger, but I'm actually a lot weaker,” he says to the interviewer while smoking a cigarette. “I wake up in my bed and I feel like, ‘That's how I used to feel.' Not exactly but, you know. And then I swing my legs off the bed and I try to stand up.”
