Podcast launches with former mayor as guest

-

With the 2017 municipal election fast approaching, what better time to launch a podcast that delves into issues with Calgary’s community leaders, policy wonks, council hopefuls and, most importantly, Calgarians who make this city tick.

Each episode, Postmedia’s Trevor Howell, Annalise Klingbeil and Kerianne Sproule will bring on guests and colleagues to discuss pressing stories, emerging issues and political intrigue, while offering greater context to listeners.

For our first episode (now available), former Calgary mayor Al Duerr and former Ward 10 alderman Ray Clark look back on their 1998 campaign mayoral bout and offer advice to mayoral opponents Naheed Nenshi and Andre Chabot as they prepare to square off this October.

You can listen to the podcast on the Calgary Herald website or subscribe on iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, Pocket Casts and Overcast. And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter @confluenceyyc.
