When it comes to ar­chi­tec­tural in­fra­struc­ture for the busi­ness world, there is usu- ally a bid and that can bring in in­ter­na­tional de­sign and con­trac­tors.

But for pub­lic art in Cal­gary, the lo­cal tal­ent should take prece­dence and be rec­og­nized. We re­ally don’t ap­pre­ci­ate what we have here. Liz Gibbs, Cal­gary
