First Next Gen title goes to South Korean

Hyeon Chung beat top-seeded Andrey Rublev of Russia 3-4 (5), 4-3 (2), 4-2, 4-2 to win the inaugural Next Generation Final on Saturday in Milan, Italy. It took the South Korean just under two hours to win his first ATP title, sealing the result with a crosscourt forehand. Canada’s Denis Shapovalov was eliminated in the round robin after going 1-2.
